This database contains an index of the material held at the City of Burnaby Archives. Included in this database are official City Records as well as the collection of Community Records which were transferred from the Burnaby Historical Society’s Community Archives into the custody and care of the City Archives in 2007. Material in this database consists of minute books, correspondence, ledgers, studies, reports, and records created by local businesses, organizations, individuals and various municipal staff, politicians and departments from the late 1800s to the present.
Council Reports - Search
This database contains an index of all reports that have been sent to Burnaby’s City Council from 1946-1996. Many of these reports have been scanned and full-text pdf. documents can be viewed online.
Reports that have not been scanned and all those records not yet indexed (1892-1946) can be viewed in person at the City of Burnaby Archives.

Bylaws - Search
This database contains every bylaw ever adopted by the City of Burnaby from its incorporation in 1892 until the Present. Many of these bylaws are no longer in force and have been repealed and/or amended.
